Lightship Print Shop is boutique surface pattern & illustration studio, specialising in playful conversationals for apparel and products.

We believe in championing originality, We believe in experimentation, mark marking, printing and painting. We believe in first-hand research and inspiration. Above all, we believe in creating fresh and exciting commercial prints. All of our designs are one-off originals and are provided in repeat in either Illustrator .ai or Photoshop .psd formats. We can also work with you to tailor a print to your needs or create from scratch working to your brief.

Lightship was launched in 2019 and named after the studio space we occupied -inside a 550 ton converted Lightship, moored in central London, creating a fantastic space for inspiring creativity and a unique studio to show prints to clients. 

In early 2022 we relocated the studio to the Scottish Highlands, working remotely whilst we build a new purpose built space, an entirely off-grid, solar powered studio by the sea. Our aim being to create an environmentally friendly studio with a much lighter carbon footprint. With that in mind we are trying to reduce our global travel and embracing digital client appointments and trying to do our bit to preserve this beautiful world we live in!
